Created in 2004, “Three Muses” is a large outdoor steel piece designed to reflect the feelings of the artist and the viewer as one inspired by the sometimes elusive spirit thought of by those in involved in the arts and sciences. It stands ten feet in height, three feet in width, and 3 feet in depth. It is anchored on each side by steel replications of plants embedded in eighty pound blocks of poured concrete. The title of the piece is Shakespearian inspired. Replication is possible. But, my desire is not to replicate. It is to create original pieces.

Finished in the fall of 2009, “The Conductress of Praise” symbolizes an abstract female figure conducting praise to the Source of all glory. She is designed to sway in the breeze and in the process her hip area clangs on the side supports creating musical tones. The piece is six and one half feet in height, three feet wide, and three feet in depth. It is constructed of steel and mounted on limestone rock.
